Youth group under the aegis of Dapo Abiodun Youths Vanguard , has commended Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun mfr over the appointment of Hon. Ayodeji Michael Shomide, as a member of Ogun State Waste Management Commission in charge of Ogun Central senatorial district.
In a statement signed by the Publicity Secretary of DAYV, Comrade Timothy Odedina and made available to Newsmen in Abeokuta on Tuesday, the group thanked Governor Dapo Abiodun for recognising the “selfless services and contributions of Hon. Ayo Shomide to the development of the Abeokuta South Local Government and Ogun Central as a whole over the months that he has been saddled with responsibilities as a Caretaker chairman.
He described Governor Abiodun as a silent achiever, Man of the masses and a good listener.
"Without any reasonable doubt, Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun's achievement will break records among all governors who had ruled Ogun state, he has begin well by deeming it necessary by touching the grassroots with appointment of well deserved gladiators." Odedina said.
"Hon. Ayo Shomide's appointment is a round peg in a round hole, we sincerely appreciate the governor on his behalf." Odedina added.
Also, he admonish youths of Ogun state to be useful to the society through skill acquisition exercise which will make them more independent and self-reliant.
