Ogun NUJ Federated Chapel Gets New Executives, Adegboyega Emerges Chairman

Abeokuta - The Editor-in-chief of National Standard newspaper,  Comrade Lanre Adegboyega has emerged the  chairman  of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Federated Chapel, Ogun State.

Adegboyega emerged after voice votes of the  accredited members of the Chapel present at chapel's Secretariat, Nawarudeen Road, Isabo, Abeokuta.










The election that was supervised by the State Chairman of  NUJ, Ogun State Council, Comrade Soji Amosu and State Assistant Secretary, Comr Abiodun Taiwo, the members who also emerged were  Comr. Omotolani Lawal, Vice-chairman, kayode Akin-Samuel,  Secretary, Lekan Lisoye, Assistant Secretary, Sola Ajibike, Treasurer, Oluwafemi Abiodun, Financial Secretary, while Dauworthy Fathia was elected, Auditor.

Speaking shortly after the swearing-in, Comrade Amosu admonished the new executive members of the Chapel to  strengthen the unity among the members and ensure further progress and development of the chapel and its members.

In his acceptance speech, the chairman of the Chapel, Comrade Adegboyega expressed the readiness of the new executive members to take the chapel to greater heights through various novel initiatives and programmes.

Among dignitaries that witnessed the election were the Ogun State FIBAN chairman, Comrade  Femi Omilani and Mr.Tajudeen Saheed.
