The South West Deputy Coordinator of NANS, Comrade Oladimeji Uthman on behalf of the leadership and entire members of the Students association presented an honorary award to Oluwatomilola Idris Mustapha, the TASUED ENACTUS team leader and winner of the 2020 Virtual Global Enterprise Experience Challenge (GEEC).
This is coming after the young 400 level Biology student alongside his formidable team has gone ahead to defeat over a thousand other contestants of 128 groups across 116 countries of the world in the global challenge held in New Zealand, bringing home the 2020 Tei Kaihau Social Entrepreneur Award.

The Deputy Coordinator led a team of NANS Executives and Students Union leaders across the Zone on a congratulatory visit to the Ikorodu residence of Mustapha and his parents where he was officially presented a Gold medal and an Award of Excellence from NANS South West in honor and recognition of the outstanding feat.

At the event, all leaders present expressed pride in Mustapha's achievement noting that he has made not just himself, but his family and the entire Nigerian students proud. 

The Deputy Coordinator in his speech at the occasion expresses how exceedingly happy he is to have such laudable feat become achieved by students from the South West Zone of NANS where he belongs. He heartily commended Mustapha and the entire ENACTUS team for their innovativeness, diligences and commitment to what today has become a global success. He said these students have proven to the world that South West Zone and Nigeria at large is the center of intellectualism.

Comrade Oladimeji Uthman promised that association under the leadership of Comrade Kappo Olawale Samuel will put in every efforts to ensure that all tertiary institutions in Southwest Geopolitical Zone have the ENtrepreneurship ACTion in US (ENACTUS) initiative commissioned. This he said will create platform for great minds like Mustapha and his team across the Southwest Zone to express their innovativeness.

He also charge the state and federal Government to reward Mustapha and his team for doing our country proud globally among hundreds of other counties that participated in the challenge. 
He especially challenge the Executive Governor of Ogun State Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun MFR, the students-friendly Governor whose state hosts Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ijebu Ode where Idris Mustapha is a student to personally recognise and reward this feat to encourage greater breakthroughs and achievements to come for the Gateway State.

Overwhelmed by the honour, Mustapha deeply appreciated the Comr. Kappo Olawale Samuel led South West Zonal leadership of NANS. He noted that the honour was a great motivation for him to press harder to ensure this becomes least of impact he will me making on the global world. 

He said the feat was borne out of his passion to save the lives of children. He also acknowledged that his team made up of exceptional individual have decided to take up change and provide quality impact on our world in total. He promised that the implementing phase of the project will kick start anytime soon.

Mustapha's mother gave an appreciation remark praying that Nigerian Students leadership shall excel more and be celebrated just like her son.

Mustapha joined the rest of the NANS Executives and Students Union Presidents present to celebrate the amiable Deputy Coordinator, Comrade Oladimeji Uthman to celebrating his birthday which coincide with the congratulatory and Award visit.
