The EFCC has paraded an alleged syndicate of bankers for allegedly stealing depositors' funds.
According to an official report made by the EFCC, the suspects specialize in forging the signatures of dead customers and then doing away with their funds.
The five-person gang was arraigned today at the Akwa Ibom State High Court on multiple count charges of conspiracy, forgery, and others in tune of 37 million Naira.
Their names, as released by the EFCC are Akwa Akwa, Kenneth Udoetuk, Mbong Essien, Ubong Udom, and Precious John.
This is not the first time such a case has been brought up by the EFCC. It goes a long way to show the decadence in our financial institutions.
It also calls for transparency among families so that funds will not end up in the hands of criminals.
