Otunba Adejare Adegbenro Becomes The 'Asiwaju Ogbeni Oja' Of Awowo-Land

Abeokuta - The Chief executive officer of Balmoral, DDSS International Company Limited, Otunba Adejare Adegbenro has been bestowed with the title of "Asiwaju Ogbeni Oja Of Awowo Land" by The Alawowo of Awowo Owu Kingdom HRM Oba AbdulGafar Olasunkanmi Tijani and the council in chiefs.

Otunba Adejare Adegbenro, the USI of Owu kingdom, attended Adarawo primary school, Saint Bernadette's Primary School both in Abeokuta, Ogun State in the 70's respectively.
He started his career in 1996 working with John Holt and later moved to Motorfone before starting his own company 'First Planet and thereafter engaged in large scale telecom transactions.

Beside the chieftancy titles from prominent monarch, Otunba Adejare Adegbenro has been humble by many awards of honour by groups, association, communities 

In presence were Towulade of Akinale, Oba Olufemi Ogunleye, Oba Johnson Olufemi Taylor, The Olu of Kobape, Chief Bankole, Honorable Iskilu Makinde, Chief Bode Mustapha and other imminent personalities in Ogun State. 

Borehole was commissioned in remembrance of the new Asiwaju Ogbeni Oja of Awowo land's mother which was been handled by Chief Bode Mustapha in the presence of all dignitaries. 

According to Alawowo of Awowo Owu Kingdom HRM Oba AbdulGafar Olasunkanmi Tijani, Otunba Adejare Adegbenro was bestowed with the title of Asiwaju Ogbeni Oja based on his philanthropic gestures to the society and because of his father Chief Niyi Adegbenro's tremendous efforts in ensuring he became the king of Awowo land.

" I was forced to become the Baale of Awowo land by Chief Niyi Adegbenro while I was running for the chieftancy due to the economy of the country but when I visited Chief in his house in Abeokuta he made everything easy for me through advise and intervention to accept the title while he supported me with everything I needed, I have pleaded to him so many times to accept the title of 'Baba Oba'so many times but he always refuse but we bless God he is responding lately..."

He further described the Adegbenro family as a family to imbibe in their spirits of leadership and act of giving to the society.
