Nigerians Celebrate Ighalo As He Score His First Goal In Manchester United

Nigerian International footballer Odion Ighalo opened scores for Manchester United as he scored his first goal for the Red Devils which has triggered reactions for Nigerians.

The former Super Eagles player scored at the 34th minute in their UEFA Europa encounter against Club Brugge on Thursday night.

An assist from Juan Mata handed the 30 year old footballer his first goal in the club this season as he started for the first time for Manchester United.

After scoring the goal, he dedicated it to his sister who passed away in December 2019 by rocking an inner T-shirt that bears her picture. It can be recalled that Ighalo revealed that her sister in question was a Manchester United fan before her death.

Odion Ighalo joined Manchester United at the last day of the January transfer window in a loan move an he has been doing well since his first game in the club.
