Jubilation As Akinrogun Victor Mobolaji Adewale, 16 Others Installed As Aare Ona Kankaafo Council In Chiefs

There was a wild jubilation in Lagos State today as Aare Gani Ige Adams, the 15th Aare Ona Kankaafo of Yorubaland installed his council in chiefs.

According to Iba Gani Adams, 'I get nothing less than sixty occasion invites in a day and I taught it expedient to install my council in chiefs who will assist me in their various endeavours to attend to every issues accordingly.'

He also said he is not the only Aare Ona Kankaafo of Yorubaland that will install council in chiefs, but there arr many Geberalsimo in the history that appointed their chiefs to look after the activities of the office of the Aare Ona Kankaafo.

"Aare council of chiefs is different from Township title, Maiyegun of Yorubaland title was bestowed on King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal but my own Maiyegun is under my office as Aare Ona Kankaafo of Yorubaland as installed by the Iku Baba Yeye, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi Alaafin of Oyo Empire.....said Aare Gani Ige Adams"

Tanimowo Babajide as Atoloye, Otunba Obafemi Arowosola as Agba Oye, Mr Segun Sanni as Bashorun, Alhaji Gani Wahab as Tuaarese, Alhaji Fatai Adeshina Akeweje As Opo Akin, Hon Mutiu Kunle Okunola as Jagun Aare, Akintola Osuntokun as Ajagun-Nla, Gboyega Adejumo As Gbonka, Chief Mrs Esther Oyebola as Yeye Opeluwa, Alhaji Ibrahim Adeleke As Otun Baaregunwa, Chief Bolaji Thomas Jaji as Ikolaba Aare Ona Kankaafo of Yorubaland.

In reaction to declaration of Operation Amotekun as illegal by the Attorney General of federation, Abubakar Malami, Aare said he is going to react robustly after meeting with the intellectual persons appointed into his cabinet.
