The Transition chairman of Abeokuta south local government, Hon. Ayodeji Shomide has announced the assigned portfolios of the transition committee members during the Statutory Financial and General purpose Committee (F&GPC), held today, 24th January, 2020, at the Chairman's office in the presence of the Head of Local government Administration, Mrs Bukunola Adeniregun and the Directors of various Department in the Council Area.
According to the Chairman, Hon. Ayo Shomide, this is necessary for ease of governance and administration for laudable achievements and to take Abeokuta south local government to greater and enviable heights.
The assigned portfolios are as follows:
1. The Transition Chairman, Hon. Ayo Shomide- to Supervise the Departments of Works & Housing and Finance( Internally generated revenue (IGR)
2. The Vice Chairman, Mr Samod Olaranwaju to Supervise the Department of Water and Environmental Sanitation
3. Transition Member 1, Mrs Iyabode Adebambo to Supervise the Department of Primary Health Care Services.
4. Transition Member 2, Hon. Wale Bakare to Supervise the Departments of information, Youth&Sports and Agricultural Services.
The Head of Local government Administration, Mrs Bukunola Adeniregun, on behalf of other Directors assured the Chairman and other Transition committee members of their full support and and cooperation in order for him and team to achieve better results and successful tenure of office.
