Immediately after the Swearing in Ceremony of the Local Government Chairmen in Ogun State, the Transition Chairman of Remo North local government, Hon. Abiodun Somoye, resumed office and assured the good people of Remo North of his drive to better the lives of the people.
Hon. Somoye in his appreciation and acceptance speech at the Local Government Headquarters in Isara Remo, Ogun State, said he would annex all resources obtainable and available to ensure good governance in the local government.
"I appreciate His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for this opportunity bestowed on me and I promise that by the grace of God, he will not deviate from his commitment to the #BuildingOurFutureTogether Agenda', Abiodun said.
Responding on behalf of himself and the generality of the local government employees, the Head of Local Government Administration (HOLGA) assured the Chairman of their willingness to work with the Chairman in ensuring policies are carried out effectively. The Chairman also sought the cooperation of the local government officials for effective and efficient service delivery. He said It is not possible clap with one hand, so we need total cooperation for the success of this administration and most especially for the benefit of the general public.
