Truck Knocks Army Personnel Dead In Ogun

Tragedy struck as driver of a truck in a fiery collision killed an unidentified Army personnel in Iyana Mortuary area of Abeokuta, damaged car in Ogun State.

The incident happened at exactly 9:40 am this morning as a fully loaded mini truck with registration number JJ 833 XW was said to have loses its break rammed into the vehicles lane of already stopped vehicles.

The truck killed an army personnel ( Name Withheld ) who was said to be approaching Idi-Aba axis with his motorcycle from Artillery Brigade, Alamala Barracks in Ogun State with his girlfriend.

According to his girlfriend who refuses to tell us her name, "The overspending truck crossed the lane and rammed into already waiting vehicles approaching Idi-Aba axis from Iyana mortuary, and luckily for me I jumped from the motorcycle when I saw the truck coming towards our direction said the lady."

The remains of the soldier was evacuated by Nigerian Army with the assistance of Police officers, Road Safety Corps and Traffic Compliance Agency TRACE to the barrack mortuary.
