Ascerbic critic of the ruling party and former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode on Thursday said he retains his undiluted spite for the Buhari-led admnistration, but will eternally commend it for one thing which is, making June 12 the new Democracy Day.
Fani-Kayode said the decision was thoughtful and worthy of accolades.
He went further to lampoon the previous Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) administrations for failing to do the honors to Moshood Abiola and the entire Yoruba race.

“I remain an ardent critic of the Buhari admin. but there is one thing that I shall always commend them for: the establishment of June 12th as the real Democracy Day," he said.
Adding, “Sadly not one @OfficialPDPNig govt, including the one I served from 2003 till 2007, had the courage to do that.”
The Nigerian Senate on Thursday passed the Public Holiday Act Amendment Bill to recognise June 12 as the new Democracy Day.
This follows President Buhari's announcement that the date would replace May 29 as the Democracy Day to celebrate the return to the civilian government.
