Ahead of the forthcoming election in 2019,The Allied People's Movement APM has launched the Ogun State secretariat today in Abeokuta.
The campaign committee was led by the former minister of mine and steel, Alhaji Sarafa Tunji Ishola as he was pronounced as the director general of the campaign for the party.
The emergence of the party at the last hours of the general election is as result of the irregularities in All Progressives Congress APC by announcing Prince Dapo Abiodun as the winner of the guber primaries in Ogun State despite the glaring fact that he did not participate in the primaries according to the loyalists of the party.

The party’s governorship candidate, Honorable Adekunle AbdukKabir Akinlade while addressing a world press conference at the new party secretariat in Abeokuta expressed confidence that he would win in a landslide as the next governor of Ogun State in 2019 to continue the rebuilding mission of Senator Ibikunle Amosun.
Akinlade also maintained that, his decision to join APM was stimulated by the marginalization of Ogun West Senatorial District from producing the next governor.
In attendance at the unveiling of the Campaign committee are Governor Ibikunle Amosun’s elder brother, Alh. Abideoye Amosun, Commissioner for Education, Modupe Mujota, Amosun’s aide, Bola Adeyemi, Soji Ogunjobi, Hon.Yinka Mafe, Commissioner for Information, Dayo Adeneye, and a host of other party chieftains.
Other members of the Campaign committee are; Dr. Babatunde Ipaye (Deputy Director-General), Hon. Toyin Ayebusiwa (Ogun East Senatorial Director), Chief Wole Adesiji (Ogun Central) and Chief Jide Ojuko as Ogun west Director.
