The president of National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) Ogun State chapter, Dr. Holumidey Lawrence has urged parents to guide their children from watching unlawful movies.

Lawrence made this statement on Saturday during the 25th anniversary celebration of Paragon International Schools held at the school international campus, Odeda, Ogun State.

He lamented that many parents do not watch over their children but gives the total responsibilities to the teachers alone.

The president blamed moral decadence in the society on the inability of the parents to assist teachers in training the children.
He advised that parents should give priority of education to their children for the sake of the nation.

Lawrence however maintained that, paying school fees of the children is not the only responsibility of parents, but also supporting the teachers to train them with the proper methods.

Meanwhile, the NAPPS president also urged the State Governor, Dapo Abiodun to maintain his interest in education.

He said “He has showed interest in education, he has already said he will declare state of emergency in education, that is the right thing step, we will be waiting for his action, he has seen the error and we hope he will correct the errors” .
