The Honourable member of the House of Representatives, representing Abeokuta North, Obafemi Owode and Odeda Federal Constituency Hon. Mukaila Olayiwola Kazzim has returned to All Progressives Congres after announcing his withdrawal as a member of Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM).
According to the press statement signed by Alhaji Semiu Makanjuola Snr. Legislative Aide to Hon Mikky, His return to APC was contained in an official letter addressed to the Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, dated 13th May 2019, and read on the floor of the House of Representatives on Wednesday 15th May, 2019. As contained in the letter, Hon. Micky Kazzim said “After due consultation with my leaders, supporters and constituents, I have decided to withdraw my membership of the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM) and return to the party that gave me the opportunity to serve the people of my constituency”
Honourable Micky Kazzim was elected on the platform of APC but was forced to contest for his re-election under the banner of Allied Peoples’ Movement after the sleaze that characterized the APC primary elections in October 2018.
Meanwhile, since the news of his return to APC broke, good people of Abeokuta North, Obafemi Owode and Odeda have been in jubilant mood stressing the need for unity and peaceful co-existence among all members of one big happy family of All Progressives Congress.
