OYETOLA RESTATE COMMITMENT TO LAUTECH

Governor, State of Osun, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola has restated his commitment to the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho owned by both Osun and Oyo states.

Governor Gboyega Oyetola stated this while playing host to the principal officers of Ladoke Akintola University, Ogbomosho led by its Vice Chancellor, Prof. Michael Ologunde at the Governor's Office in Osogbo on Wednesday.









The Governor who congratulated the new principal officers of the state owned University and wished them a successful tenure, told the delegation that the State of Osun has always been committed to LAUTECH being on joint ownership of the tertiary educational facility with Oyo state, used the opportunity to congratulate the Governor elect of Oyo State, Mr. Seyi Makinde, promising to partner with him to take the institution to an enviable height.

Mr. Oyetola advocated for equitable distribution of infrastructure between the two owner states, enjoining the principal officers to join hands with the owner states to reposition the university into a world class status.

In his address at the event, the Vice Chancellor of Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH), Ogbomosho, Prof. Michael Ologunde told the Governor that his team was in his office to congratulate him on the successful outing of his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the recently held general elections most especially that of the state house of assembly and to familiarize with their employer.

Prof. Ologunde assured the owner states of Osun and Oyo of maximum commitment of his team to the ideals and progress of the University.

Other principal officers of the University that joined the Vice Chancellor on the visit to the Governor of Osun were the Registrar, Dr. Kayode Ogunleye, the Bursar, Mr. Abayomi Okediji and the University's Public Relations Officer, Mr. Lekan Fadeyi.
