....NO ROOM FOR ALIBI,
SAVE EDUCATION,SAVE THE FUTURE.

The leadership of National Association of Nigerian Students NANS has declared state of emergency in the education sector today with a peaceful rally nationwide.

According to Comrade Adeyemi Azeez,  the National Public Relations Officer, We have pretended as if all is well, we have tried to educate Mr President on the values and importants of education through consultation and consolidation but it seems he does not understand that education is our fundamental right and not a privilege.

However, before he makes us  a nomadic and uncivilized farmer we shall resist him and that is what we are doing now.

History has it that President Muhammad Buhari led government is the only government that budgeted low for education.

NANS has taken time to go through federal government arguments through Mr Wale Babalakin, "the figure ASUU gave is not realistic" while he advised that students should also be part of revenue of where ASUU will generate fund to develop Nigerian Universities.

The question that came to the minds of the intellectual Nigerian students after  reading the paper was that, HOW DID WALE BABALAKIN PAID TO GET EDUCATED DURING HIS OWN DAYS IN SCHOOL? We are sure he will say NO.

Mr Wale Babalakin should take his time to study the 2018 budget instead of doing a paid job and see the fraud committed by the government.

ASUU and COEASU are not asking for what the government did not have.

The total sum of 9.12 trillion was signed into law by President Muhammad buhari, saddenly only 109 billion was allocated to Universal Basic Education Commission was allocated, whereby N9.2 billion was allocated for various scholarship allowances.

Patriot Nigerians, how then can we marry this figure to the budget of the Office of the Secretary to the government of Federation proportionally, that was allocated N112 billion.
No doubt, this confirmatorily shows that the government of president Muhammad Buhari is a mortgage and NANS will not seat back and watch him mortgage the future of the present and unborn generation.

There is no reason to negotiate, ASUU AND COEASU demands are our rights, your dogs are feeding large, you are travelling with our parents money, we say capital NO!

We won't continue to serve a government that does not understand the value of education,if you chose not to yield to the demands of ASUU and COEASU.

Mr President, NANS is giving you this for free that come 2019 we are going to show you road through our vote to Daura,if after today's nationwide rally, you still not respect the voice of over 50million Nigerian students.

Our universities, polytechnics, colleges of Education laboratories are no more updated, no research apparatus, our lecture rooms are decapitated.

Education that your mates got for free, food that you got from our cafeteria for free during study is what you want to sell for us, we will resist it.

Quality education and not just education is our property,we won't and you cannot sell it to us.

We hereby want to call on federal government to implement the demands of ASSU and COEASU because we have resolved not to go back on this struggle.
